Born and raised in St. John’s, Dr. Allison Chaytor obtained her Bachelor of Science (Joint Honours) at MUN, majoring in Biology and Behavioural Neuroscience. In 2013 she moved to Montreal to pursue her Doctor of Dental Medicine at McGill University. She has been recognized for her high academic achievements in both universities through numerous awards and scholarships.
To offer exceptional care to her patients, Dr. Chaytor spent a year pursuing advanced training at the Montreal General Hospital. This enabled her to gain direct experience in oral and maxillofacial surgery, orofacial pain, head and neck oncology, oral pathology, anaesthesiology, as well as pediatric and special care dentistry.
Outside of dentistry you can find her playing music, hiking by the ocean in Torbay, and spending time with her daughter and husband.
